Dumpster Fire

Late on the night of Saturday October 1st the dumpster adjacent to the lifeguard building at the bottom of the hill caught fire causing complete destruction to the plastic dumpster (melting down to nothing but a stain in the parking area) and still to be determined damage to the lifeguard building and the contents inside.

Officials were seen investigating the fires damage shortly after first light on Sunday October 2nd. Removed contents from the lifeguard building sustained what appears to be mostly smoke damage. The outside of the building remains intact but shows heavy fire damage, while the inside of the building seems certain to have sustained major smoke damage and possibly worse.

A failed do-gooders attempt to dispose of hot coals? Or a senseless act of random vandalism? We may never know!
