The UCSD Surf Team held a beach cleanup on Saturday May 21 at Blacks Beach.
More than a dozen team members showed up, not just with their boards and wetsuits but also with trash bags, a healthy appetite
and a goal to rid the beach of any waste they could muster.
Surfing and beach cleaning can make a person hungry and Dough Momma’s delivered fresh hot pies for the entire crew. Coach Tyler Calloway said that the team is very proud of their home beach and are always happy to help keep it clean.
“We left it spic and span, just how we like it, he said.”
The UCSD Team wanted to again thank Dough Momma’s at 2152 Avenida De La Playa, La Jolla for some of the best pizza they had ever had.
